Arctic Cat 50 Atv No Spark

I checked for spark and no spark so i took it to a friends that knows a lot more than me on this stuff.

Basic chinese atv wiring to get spark. Not really check the amps comming out of the stator plate going to the cdi box. My 2002 arctic cat 500 4x4 atv has spark only when you first press the start button then no spark. I cleaned the carb the fuel was gren yellow as usual and the pilot was plugged. Guys i have a 04 artic cat 90 4 stroke that im working on for a friend. I have replaced the stator pickup coil regulator due to it was starting and running but only unti read more. Is there a way to test the cdi unit. The problem was that it wont start it cranks over fine and the machine is in really good shape.

This has been a on going problem with this quad for some time. Or the spark plug just went bad that happens quite often and it s normal.
